By capturing friends in moments of socialisation, whilst omitting their faces, the focus shifts away from traditional portraiture to explore the body language, gestures, objects, and the environment that truly defines the sense of that moment. I am interested in the ontological essence of social exchanges and moments, where meaning is not fixed, but it is created in the tension between what is visible and what is left unsaid.
